In 2020, after years of serving as Eminem’s tour DJ, The Alchemist finally landed a placement on an Em album, cowriting and coproducing “Stepdad” for Music to be Murdered By. In addition to solo outings, the producer has released numerous collaborative projects with artists like Oh No, Evidence, Action Bronson, Conway the Machine, and Freddie Gibbs. He followed that with Chemical Warfare in 2009 and Russian Roulette in 2012. The Alchemist released his debut solo album, The Infantry, in 2004. This story, dazzling in its simplicity and wisdom, is about an Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago who travels from his homeland in Spain to the Egyptian desert in search of treasure buried in the Pyramids.

An outbreak of plague in London forces a gentleman, Lovewit, to flee temporarily to the country, leaving his house under the sole charge of his butler, Jeremy.
